Tëng-tênêno Sêdè (/ko/ /tɘˈnɘno/ [maroon] [vendor]) is a subtropical Large City located in Shîrècëvîtêdë County, Pîndëpíèkècî Provence, within the Daland.

The name Tëng-tênêno Sêdè is derived from the Sylvin language, as Tëng-tênêno Sêdè was founded by Mlelîm, who was culturaly Iron Elf.

Climate

Tëng-tênêno Sêdè has a yearly average temperature of 22°C (71°F), with its average temperature during the summer being a warm 28°C (82°F) and its average temperature during the winter being a cool 17°C (62°F). Tëng-tênêno Sêdè receives an average of 247 cm/y (97 in/y) of precipitation, most of which comes in the form of rain during the summer. Tëng-tênêno Sêdè covers an area of nearly 204 km2 (81 mi2), and an average elevation of 2002 m (6568 ft) above sea level.

Overview

Tëng-tênêno Sêdè was founded durring the early 12th century in spring of the year 1136, by Mlelîm. The establishment of Tëng-tênêno Sêdè was somewhat plagued by a lack of willing colonists, leading to Mlelîm electing to pay people to resettle in Tëng-tênêno Sêdè.

Tëng-tênêno Sêdè was built using the conventions of Iron Elf durring the early 12th century. Naturaly, all settlmentss have their own look to them, and Tëng-tênêno Sêdè is no diffrent. The city's buildings feature waddle and daub construction with good timber frames and a stone foundation protected by thatched or shingled rooves. Most buildings with second floors are built in such a way as to overhang into the streets on the upper floors for more space, as building size seems to be the primary indicator of wealth within the community. Most buildings are not decorated with any integral features, but instead use ivy, flowers, and other natural elements in planters of on trellices to breathe life into the structure they grow upon.

Tëng-tênêno Sêdè is is constructed arround a series of broad cobblestone mainstreets which form overlapping circles, with smaller strait roads linking the circiles to eachother at varrious points. The city is the proud owner of a proper castle-style stone wall complete with all of the trimmings. It has towers, a moat, gatehouses, drawbridges, and even merticulationsshortsizeleadershipname.. The perhapse unnessisarily well built defences has suffered a visible ammount of structural damage, leaving them effectivly useless. One can't help but wonder why the has not yet effected repairs.

A look around Tëng-tênêno Sêdè makes it abundantly clear the city suffered something horrible some time ago. It’s a quiet city filled with closed scriptoriums, people quietly yet dejectedly reading in isolated places around town, and the occasional book laying in a heap of garbage.

Cultural Notes

Tëng-tênêno Sêdè's garrison was built using a different architectural style from the rest of the town. The style used makes use of a large oblong hall or building with double colonnades and a semicircular apse and symmetrical central-plan, resulting in buildings with a square central mass and four arms of equal length. Decorative features included domed rooves, arches, soaring spaces, and sumptuous decoration: marble columns and inlay, mosaics on the vaults, inlaid-stone pavements, and sometimes gold coffered ceilings.

In Tëng-tênêno Sêdè yeast remains dormant.

The Wolpertinger near Tëng-tênêno Sêdè are known to be quite timid.

Tëng-tênêno Sêdè's citizens partake in a curious ritual relating to their local kami. It takes place in summer and involves reenactments to channel Abjuration energies of tier 2 via divine sermons.
